Rent

The rent you pay covers the cost of the services we provide. Rent should be paid in advance, either weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

If you're in credit, dependant upon your tenancy, you may qualify for free weeks each year. Please check your tenancy agreement or contact us for more information. If you owe us money, you must continue to pay us as normal.

It’s important that you pay on time as it means we can do more for you, like repair your home, fit a new bathroom or do kitchen and safety checks.

Service charges

A service charge is a payment made by a customer towards the costs of doing repairs, maintenance, improvements, insurance and management costs.

Your service charge could include costs for utilities (e.g. electricity), staff, communal cleaning, grounds maintenance, electrical maintenance, equipment maintenance, scheme income, estate fees and more.

  • Support charges: Customers who are visited by a support worker, use Telecare, or receive other types of extra -care are charged  pay a charge on top of their rent.

  • Grass-cutting charges: Some customers pay us to have their grass cut annually.

  • Recharges: This is when we recharge a customer for a service we’ve provided that is over and above what they are entitled to or where a customer has caused damage to property and we have to repair.
