We’re committed to improving the lives of our customers and the places where they live . Through our grants programme, we work with others to make this happen.
We give financial support to local individuals and groups. So far the groups we’ve supported have developed and delivered a variety of projects ranging from sports activities to support groups.
Here are a few of the grants we’re involved in.
Somerset
Community chest grants
Grant funding is aimed at one off projects which help to develop and support sustainable communities or prevent social exclusion.
Environmental improvement grants
Each of our area tenant forums has £10,000 a year to spend on your ideas to make their neighbourhood a better place to live. The funds could be for an individual, a group or a sheltered housing or extra-care scheme. So if you’ve got a bright idea to make your estate or community better for everyone, we want to hear about it.
Wiltshire
Neighbourhood and community regeneration grant
It could be spent on projects to make neighbourhoods cleaner, safer and greener, help people to live and eat more healthily and encourage people to learn new skills.
Hampshire
We’ll be launching our new Aster Communities grants programme for Hampshire in April 2012 – so watch this space for more information in the future.
