Your neighbourhood

Everyone wants to feel safe in their home and enjoy living in their community. This is why we’re doing everything we can to work with you and make your neighbourhoods better places to live, work and play.  

You’ve told is that anti-social behaviour is one of your biggest concerns, so we’re doing more to stamp out this problem:

• When local councils put forward someone to live in one of our homes, we work with them, using our knowledge of the area, to find them a home in the right place first time

• We work with the police to see if they have any information that will help

• We’re not afraid to use ‘tough love’ with some customers who cause problems. We’ve used it to show them they’re at real risk of losing their homes.

• We work with local schools and local councils to get young people into community sports

• We hold sporting activities in the school holidays

• We talk to young people about our work and how to manage money

• We’ve also set up a dedicated anti-social behaviour team to tackle any issues.

It makes a real difference to communities when local people who know their neighbourhood get involved. That’s why we also have estate inspections.
