Andover-based housing association Testway Housing is inviting local residents to help mark the seventh birthday of its Transform charity at a specially-arranged Butterfly Tea Party.
The party, which takes place between 2pm and 5pm on Tuesday, 14 February at Goodworth Clatford Village Hall, has been organised to celebrate seven years of the Testway Transform Money Box Fund, which provides cash donations to Test Valley community groups.
Called the Butterfly Tea Party after Testway Transform’s butterfly logo, the event will feature music from Mike Glover and a variety of refreshments will also be on offer. Tickets cost £5 and are available from book retailer Waterstones in Chantry Way, Andover. All proceeds raised from ticket sales will go towards helping Testway Transform.
Paula Deverill, Testway Transform charity co-ordinator, said: “We’re really proud of the work Testway Transform has done over the past seven years. The Transform Money Box Fund has made a massive difference to lots of local organisations and we’d love to see as many people as possible celebrate its birthday with us.”
Testway’s Transform Money Box Fund has given away £140,000 to Test Valley-based community groups since 2007. So far, the fund has supported 138 groups with over 10,000 members. The grants have helped people to remain fit and active, find work, cope with disabilities and build community spirit.
