We believe strong and high quality governance arrangements are fundamental to our continuing success. To help us do this, we have an Aster Communities Board whose job it is to oversee what we do and set our strategy

Aster Communities Board

Board is made up of 12 people:

3 x Customer Directors
2 x Directors with a financial background
1 x Director with a general business background
1 x Director with a housing background
1 x Director who has a “third sector” background
1 x Group Services Director
3 x Local Authority Directors – one each from Mendip District Council, Test Valley Borough Council and Wiltshire Council.

Our Customer Boards

To help us make better decisions, keep our customers’ interests at our heart and to make sure our services keep improving, we’ve launched our Customer Boards.

Customer Boards are a great new way to have your say about the things that really matter to you, to influence our future plans, and to help us provide you with better services.

There are four Customer Boards, which are formally part of our governance structure, each covering:

  • Cornwall and Devon

  • Hampshire and Berkshire

  • Somerset

  • Wiltshire

Each Customer Board has nine members, including:

  • 6 x Customer Members

  • 1 x Regional Director

  • 1 x Independent Member

  • 1 x Local Authority Member
